bit.ly American upstart Beatrice Capra faces Maria Sharapova in the third round of the 2010 US Open. In her first two matches on the WTA tour, Capra beat Karolina Sprem and Arane Rezai, the 18th seed. Sharapova seems to be getting over the shoulder injury that has plagued her for the better part of a year. Last year Sharapova lost to another American newcomer, Melanie Oudin, partially because her serve let her down to the tune of about 20 double faults. Winning this match is going to be a tough ask for Capra. Sharapova is serving much, much better than last year and she’s hitting well. Capra will have to keep Sharapova on the move to have a chance at winning.
